Hello random residents of newgrounds who stumbled onto my page!
I appreciate your interest in checking my work out, be that based off my reviews or random chance. Now for the meat and potatoes:
I am currently working on a game named "Paranormal Dispatch". If I had to pitch it to you, it would be "Lead your own scooby doo team of plucky teenagers into a world of horrific analog horror".
You can play the first level Right here, RIGHT NOW!
The full game will consist of levels called "Cases" which are pre-made levels with tiny point-and-click type puzzles which aid your progression towards a specific case resolution. Characters you recruit will posess specific unqie skills, which can be used to complete the case a certain way. You can always brute-force the simplest solution with any team setup.
Since the game does not rely on prosedural generation, it will be quite an undertaking, and will take an immense amount of time to develop as a single-man army. I wouldn't have to tell you, newgrounds user, that only select single-person devs achieve any remote ounce of success. Do stick around to see what comes of it!
But Mr CrudeWax man, how can I be sure you are not an ideaguy with nothing finished?
Because I had made two other projects, you can check them out here! This is my first long-term one.
Mr CrudeWax why do you badmouth single-person gamedevs?
Because I am filled with seething envy.
Just kidding, I am a hobbyist and therefore don't have the time or experience a full indie game dev person man would have.
Mr Crudewax how can I follow your wacky antics and tell you about my cool OC you should totally add?
